Bunco – 3rd Tuesday of each month @6:30 pm – TV Room.  Join Steffi for a fun time playing Bunco! The cost to play is $10.00 per person. Chair Exercise – (Weekly) Thursdays @ 10:30 am TV room – Instructor Terryl Jones.Yoga4Longlife.com. Combines Pilates, calisthenics, and yoga to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Clay Workshop – (Weekly) Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 1 pm, Craft room- Instructor Jeannette Robichaurd. We welcome everyone who is interested in participating in and learning clay crafting. Crystal Bowls for Meditation and Self-Care – (Weekly) Mondays @ 4 pm TV room – Instructor Tirtzah Israel. These sessions offer a soothing sense of well-being and healing, guiding you towards personal inner space of tranquility. English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) – Fridays 1:30 – 2:30 TV Room, (Starts Jan. 10, 2025).  We have discovered in our midst Dr. Alyse Schoenfeldt, a Harvard graduate, who has over 50 years of experience teaching foreign languages and has served two stints as a Fulbright scholar. Presently, in addition to playing tennis, Alyse still instructs classes at Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton. She has graciously offered to teach an interactive, informal, once a week on Fridays from 1:30 to 2:30PM, conversational class in our Clubhouse. The joyful get togethers will begin on Friday, January 12th, and will continue for as long as there is interest. The goal is to assist those adults in our community who would like to improve their English language skills. This communicative course will be based on the needs and requests of the participants, not on a rigid textbook. The experience is intended to be engaging, lively and fun for all. Lady’s Eight-Ball – (Every Wednesday) @ 6:30 pm, Billiards room. Calling all ladies! Join us for a night of fun and games as we play Eight-Ball in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, all skill levels are welcome. So, grab your cue stick and come join the fun! Lady’s Shuffleboard – (Every Friday @ 9:30 am) Facilitator, Eilene Gerofsky.  Join the ladies for a fun and social game of shuffleboard every Friday morning at 9:30 am. All ladies are welcome, regardless of skill level. They prioritize enjoying each other’s company and having a good time together. After the game, they have “a coffee time” on and/or off campus. Laughing Yoga -Every Thursday starting February 29, @ 4 pm TV Room – Instructor Jeff Rich.  We are thrilled to introduce a new class that focuses on the power of laughter in improving health. Led by Jeff Rich, a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, this class will not only educate you on the benefits of laughter for your well-being but also demonstrate how to incorporate it into your daily routine. Men’s Nine-Ball (Non-League) – Thursday’s & Saturday’s @1 pm, Facilitator, Bill Arthur.  If you are a beginner, we recommend attending on Saturdays as that is the day most attendees are there. We look forward to seeing you there.

Men’s Shuffleboard  (Non-League) – Monday – Saturday @ 9 am at the Shuffleboard Courts – Facilitator Armando Lopez (305-846-2674 or Rich Rosado). We welcome all beginners and experienced players alike to join us for a good time.  Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, we guarantee a great time for all. So come join us and become a part of our Shuffleboard family!

Rummikub Wednesdays @ 4 pm TV Room – Karen Wenzell.  Don’t worry if you’ve never played before you can learn under the guidance of our very own resident Karen Wenzell, an enthusiastic Rummikub player.  Karen will share her passion for the game and will be available to help newcomers learn by ensuring that everyone feels included and confident to play.

Water Aerobics – (Daily from Monday through Saturday 8:35 am) Facilitator – Carol Hager.  Looking for a fun way to get fit and stay cool? Join Carol and the rest of the group for our water fitness classes! Our classes are perfect for all fitness levels and ages, and are designed to help you burn calories, build strength, and improve your overall health. Plus, exercising in the water is a low-impact way to get active, making it ideal for those with joint pain or injuries.

Yoga – (TV Room (Weekly) Tuesdays @ 10 am – Instructor Terryl Jones. Classes run yearly. (Must be able to get up and down off the floor). New Book Club

This group has not yet started, we are looking for people to tell us what type of books they would like to read for the Book Club. If you’re keen on joining any groups or have other ideas in mind we are eager to hear from you. Please stop by the Recreation Office and we will try to assist you with any questions you may have.

Financial Investing – 3rd Wednesday of ea. Month @4 pm TV Room – This class is once a month. We are excited to announce a new monthly class for women regarding financial investments and stocks. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner (and want to learn how to trade on your own) or a knowledgeable investor.
